1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using AppoBase ("the Application", "the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Application.

AppoBase is a desktop application that provides a graphical interface for managing Firebase Firestore databases, Authentication users, and Cloud Storage. The Application is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

AppoBase is developed and owned by UVIZON LLC (the "Company", "we", "us", "our"), a parent company. For more information about UVIZON LLC, please visit uvizon.com.

2. License and Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Download and install the Application on your personal computer or device
• Use the Application for managing your Firebase projects
• Use the Application in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws

Restrictions: You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Application
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the Application
• Distribute, sublicense, or sell the Application
• Use the Application for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

3. Firebase Service Account Credentials

AppoBase requires Firebase service account JSON files to connect to your Firebase projects:

• Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the security and management of your Firebase service account credentials.
• Local Storage: Service account file paths are stored locally on your device. The actual credential files are never transmitted to our servers.
• No Access: We do not have access to your service account credentials or Firebase data.
• Best Practices: You should follow Firebase security best practices, including limiting service account permissions and rotating credentials regularly.

4. Your Data and Privacy

AppoBase operates entirely on your local device:

• Local Processing: All data processing occurs on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your Firebase data.
• Direct Connections: The Application connects directly to Firebase services using your credentials. We do not act as an intermediary.
• Your Control: You have full control over which Firebase projects you connect and what data you access through the Application.
• Privacy Policy: For more information about data handling, please review our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Application only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms:

• You will not use the Application to violate any laws or regulations
• You will not use the Application to access or manipulate data without proper authorization
• You will not use the Application to interfere with or disrupt Firebase services
• You will not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any Firebase projects
• You will comply with all applicable Firebase Terms of Service and Google Cloud Platform Terms of Service

6. Third-Party Services

AppoBase integrates with Firebase services provided by Google:

• Firebase Services: Your use of Firebase services is subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
• Google's Responsibility: Google is solely responsible for the Firebase services. We are not responsible for any issues, downtime, or changes to Firebase services.
• No Warranty: We do not warrant or guarantee the availability, reliability, or performance of Firebase services.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. You acknowledge that the Application may contain bugs, errors, or other limitations.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
• Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Application
• Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Any damages related to your use of Firebase services

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Application, if any, or $100, whichever is greater.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AppoBase, UVIZON LLC, and its developers, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Application, violation of these Terms, or violation of any rights of another party.

10. Free Trial and Subscription

AppoBase offers different subscription plans:

• Free Plan: Limited to 1 project with basic features
• Pro Plan: Unlimited projects with advanced features
• Team Plan: Enterprise features for teams
• Free Trial: All plans include a 7-day free trial

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Refunds are subject to our refund policy.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Application at any time, with or without cause or notice, for any reason, including:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Non-payment of subscription fees
• At our sole discretion

Upon termination, your right to use the Application will immediately cease. You may uninstall the Application at any time.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Application after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Application is developed, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
